Eugenia Kim NYC Hats at The Eternal Headonist

Posted by

The story of how Eugenia Kim got into making hats is the stuff of millinery legend, and is the kind of break all milliners dream of. It goes a little like this....

Back in 2008 Eugenia Kim had a bad haircut, and rather than hiding as the rest of us might, she designed an elaborate feathered cloche hat to cover the haircut and hit the town. As soon as she'd done so boutiques in her Downtown New York neighbourhood noticed, and shortly after her first order from Barney's was received and her brand was born. Now that's the kind of start every milliner wants!

These days her brand has gone from strength to strength, and is stocked in luxury boutiques and stores globally. Every major celebrity worth their style salt has stepped out in her hat designs, from all the Kardashians, Beyonce, Rachel Zoe, Gwen Stefani, Hilary Duff to name just a few, this lady has made it! The Eugenia Kim look takes a classic hat style, adds an elegant yet quirky twist, and tops it off with the very finest of materials - always stylish and always on trend.

This summer we have some beautiful pieces for you, from the classic boaters made from super high quality Toyo straw with faux pearl and kilt pin trims, the stunning Max fedora trilbys with their sequinned bands, and the to die for "Do Not Disturb" floppy sun hat. Perfect for all those occasions when you need some time with just you and the rays! This collection would be ideal for smart summer party looks, hanging out at the polo, a more casual racing look, or killing it down the beach!
